- A. We’re From Barcelona – I’m From Barcelona You’ll have this stuck in your head all day. You’re welcome. One of the hints that was hidden on the Facebook page (look closely at the new profile pic) says “Geoff & Annabelle”, which if Googled would have led you to one of my favorite radio shows out of the UK, “Geoff Lloyd’s Hometime Show”. If you had gone the extra step of listening to the show, you would have noticed that this song opens the show every day. As bonus trivia, the band actually played this song in the radio station restroom a few years ago.
B. Love Shack – The B-52’s Definitely the easiest of the bunch. It’s in this list because of the line “…headed down the Atlanta highway…”
C. Sydney I’ll Come Running – Brett Dennen The truth is, I just like this song and built this question so I could post a link to it. The other hint on the Facebook page was a photo of Pittsburgh Penguins star, Sidney Crosby.
D. Letter Never Sent – R.E.M. …mentions “Athens”, although probably the one in Georgia, not Greece.
E. Nine Million Bicycles – Katie Melua …I was shocked by how many people got this one right. There’s either some really big Katie Melua fans playing this game, or some really good Googlers. It’s in the list because of the first line: “There are nine million bicycles in Beijing.”
F. London Calling – The Clash
Bonus – Rio - This gets easy if you happened to be watching the NCAA Men’s Final Four while you were working on this. This year’s teams included the #3 seed Connecticut Huskies, the #8 seed Butler Bulldogs, the 11th seeded VCU Rams, and the #4 seed the Kentucky Wildcats. Everybody remembers the 1986 Goldie Hawn movie, Wildcats right?
- The word was “Chance”.
Monopoly Chance card (background), “Chance” published for the Boston University Graduate Student Symposium on the History of Art, Frank Chance, of the Cubs, Greyson Chance, Chance perfume by Chanel, Flint Lockwood from “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”, and Kamal Givens aka “Chance” - Napoleon, Snowball, Mr. Jones, Mr. Pilkington, and Pinkeye are all characters in George Orwell’s Animal Farm.
- That’s Jack Nicholson as The Specialist in Tommy.
- You should read up on the beginnings of Google. When they booted up in 1996, called their project “Backrub”.
- Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch, by Frank Zappa
- James Remar (Dexter fans should recognize him), Jimmer Fredette (college basketball fans should recognize him), Jim Reeves (my grandfather would recognize him), and Jaime “James” King (fans of models should recognize her)
- Madison, Wisconsin
- Knots Landing
Uh…FIVE (5) perfect scores? What the? Obviously this was way too easy. Prepare to be punished.

I think you need to sharpen your pencil. I only missed 5 and 6 along with 1 song, am I being graded on a curve?
Where is # 3?
