Round 3 Answers

  1. I think Dan Naumovich summed up the answer pretty well:

Moody Blues – Your Wildest Dreams
Paul Mccartney and Wings – Jet
    Revolution – Beatles
Give Peace a Chance – Plastic Ono Band
Won’t Get Fooled Again – the Who
    Ooh La La – Faces
Gimme Shelter – the Rolling Stones

Ronnie Wood of the Stones played in Faces. Kenny Jones of Faces played in the Who. Keith Moon of the Who played in the Plastic Ono Band. John Lennon of the Plastic Ono Band played in the Beatles. Paul McCartney of the Beatles played in Wings. Denny Laine of Wings played in the Moody Blues.

  2. Everybody got it…Replacements
  3. Fiona Apple’s 1999 album title, “When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a king What he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight And he’ll win the whole thing ‘fore he enters the ring There’s no body to batter when your mind is your might So when you go solo, you hold your own hand And remember that depth is the greatest of heights And if you know where you stand, then you know where to land And if you fall it won’t matter, cause you’ll know that you’re right”
  4. Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  5. Only the Couch Potato Zombies and The Joe Craven Experience got this one right. It was a list of Presidential libraries, and the President who was in office when that library was dedicated. JFK was in office when Herbert Hoover’s library was dedicated in 1962.
  6. The one that stumped the most players was the guy on the far left….Denver Pyle. Almost everyone got the rest – William Atherton, Roscoe Lee Brown, and Patricia Clarkson.
  7. The films all starred the kids from detention in The Breakfast Club in their first feature film.
  8. They all won Best Original Song Oscars in years that the awards were hosted by Whoopi Goldberg.  I gave regular credit those who just answered “Best Original Song”, and a bonus point to The Couch Potato Zombies and Chris Clark who got the Whoopi part too.
  9. Psychrolutes marcidus, aka “blobfish”
