Writing a question tonight about Angela Lansbury’s character, Jessica Fletcher, I wondered if I could come up with a full category based on famous people or characters with Old English occupational surnames. Of course, there would have to be a Don Draper question, and Adam Wainwright would definitely be in there. I’d have Ben Cartwright, and Jay Cutler, Adam Sandler, and Margaret Thatcher. Digging deeper, I could go with Ben Harper, Raymond Chandler, Bud Abbot, Punky Brewster, and Tom Sawyer.
Can you think of any other names that could make this category work?

From what I understand, the surname “Leach” probably referred in Olde England to a doctor (who, of course, would treat people with leeches). There once was a congressman named Leach, so that might help with the whole “famous people” requirement.
Archibald Leach would probably do nicely for that. Or I could just go with you.
The Wagonmaker!!
Coach Buttermaker?
Colin Cowherd
Wilt Chamberlain
Steve Dorr (Stevedore)
I suppose Alan King, Ellery Queen and William Prince would be out.
