Had I known that Parade Magazine would be featuring several of these in this Sunday’s edition, I would have chosen different subjects. I like to think that someone at Parade is playing along. “HI MARILYN!” Here are the locations of these ginormous foods:

- What do these gentlemen have in common and why is that so interesting? (2 pt)

If you got stuck thinking that the guy on the left was Bing Crosby, then you were derailed from the start. It’s actually George M. Cohan. You might remember the 1942 film, Yankee Doodle Dandy, and the title song that boasts that he was “Born on the forth of July!”. The guy on the right, is obviously Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, who you probably recall starring in a movie with the title “Born on the Forth of July“. What do they have in common? They were both born on the Third of July. - Finish this sequence: (2 pt)

Russ,
Great job with the contest. Loved the variety of questions and terrific assortment of prizes.
The only thing I can think of as a suggestion for improvement (per your request) is to consider giving a prize to whoever has the best average (minimum 3 rounds played), therefore giving someone who joins late the incentive to keep playing.
Amy
You should also have a spirit or congeniality prize next time so I have something to shoot for.
I thought it was awesome, the only suggestion I can think of is mixing up the bonus point awarded each week to be something other than the first response.
Can you publish the final total scores?
Nick,
Do you mean something other than what’s on the Scoreboard page?
Now that I found the Scoreboard page, I have another suggestion for this past contest and that would be to take one of the first-place prizes and give it to the sixth place finisher. I think people would be more inclined to participate if they knew the top six players would win prizes, instead of just the top five. It’s the “7-minute Abs” principle of marketing. Think about it.
What place did you finish again, Dan?
Actually, I did set aside one of the 1st place prizes for the #6 finisher. So congratulations – you win my autograph!
Next time I am going to make sure everyone who submits answers for all ten rounds gets something.
Cool!
Autograph a $100 bill and I’ll pick it up this weekend.
I blame my complete and utter ignorance of that page until this very moment on the fact that I was never really in the prize hunt.
I’d like to file a formal protest, I deserve that autograph.
I was a late-comer but enjoyed every bit of the last few rounds I was able to participate in. Make sure to let your Humzoo friends know when the next season starts! Thanks, Russ!
