New Quiz League – Round One

It’s been a while since the last quiz league, and with the trivia night season winding down I thought this might be a good time to try it again.  It’s hard with online quizzes to keep players from using search engines to come up with the right answers, so these quizzes will feature questions that will require some brain work even to find the answer on Google.

There will be ten rounds of ten questions (just like a trivia night) and the player with the highest total score at the end will take home a fabulous prize package (which has yet to be determined).  Each round will run for a week, from Monday through 11:59 Sunday night.  Email your answers to russ@springfieldtrivia.com when you’re ready.  First entry gets one bonus point.   Scores will be posted each Monday.

Importantly, don’t think of these quizzes as your standard trivia rounds, but more of a trivia scavenger hunt.  The questions will require some knowledge to figure out – but the challenge is in how you arrive at the correct answer.  The first round will be relatively easy – and more Googleable than the ones that folllow – just to get you used to the style.
